Absolutes

Absolutes are obtained by solvent extraction. This method is often used to extract the fine fragrance from plants that are delicate and not able to withstand steam distillation. Absolutes are the palette of the perfumer or one who perhaps works in the subtle energy realms of aromatic practice.

Absolutes are very concentrated and can sometimes seem overpowering in their pure form. Gently release their magic by diluting in a stable carrier oil such as jojoba or in grain alcohol.
